Delivery Model

Every offshore project is different. The challenge isn’t collecting ocean data, it’s delivering the right data, at the right time, while keeping projects moving.

XOCEAN takes responsibility for the complete ocean data programme, managing delivery from planning through to final outputs. Our flexible operating model allows us to deploy the right combination of capabilities for each project, helping clients accelerate delivery, adapt to changing conditions and reduce programme risk.

and data platform

Over the horizon operations

XOCEAN has developed a fleet of Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) that can remain offshore for extended periods, harvesting large volumes of ocean data. Operators and data analysts remain safely located onshore, connected to the vessels over a satellite link. This smarter and highly scalable approach to ocean data delivery is safer, cost-effective and ultra-low impact.

XOCEAN’s Cyberdeck

XOCEAN’s CyberDeck provides a highly secure cloud-based environment to monitor and control each USV. The CyberDeck also allows XOCEAN’s team of Data Analysts to monitor the quality of the data being collected and to adjust both the USV and sensor parameters in real-time.

Operational Hubs

Our technical centres in Ireland and Australia host our global fleet of USVs. A team of highly qualified engineers, robotic experts and software developers ensure that our fleet of USVs are maintained to the highest standards whilst also producing new USVs to join our growing fleet. Our technical centres are a key element in achieving our target of displacing one million tons of carbon over the next 5 years through the delivery of carbon neutral ocean data.

XOCEAN’s USVs are designed and manufactured at our Technical Centres in Ireland and Australia. To support our growing fleet, we are developing a number of international Operational Hubs to support fleets in-market.
